Causes Of Infertility

Today, many couples are suffering from infertility issues. Infertility issues can affect men and women alike. Infertility means that conceiving a child can be difficult or impossible. There are two categories of infertility. These include primary and secondary fertility. In primary fertility, the couple has never conceived a child. In secondary fertility, the couple has had previous pregnancies but are unable to conceive. For women there are several causes of infertility. These include diabetes, poor nutrition, eating disorders, hormonal imbalances, cancer, clotting disorders and obesity. For men, infertility can be caused by lowered sperm count, infection, older age, smoking, heavy use of alcohol, injury, sexually transmitted diseases and environmental pollutants.
